Microsoft CEO Dumps More Shares

We know that Microsoft is struggling in the consumer and Smartphone markets and that their share of the browser market is on the skids, but does CEO Steve Ballmer know something that we don’t know?

We know that Microsoft is struggling in the consumer and Smartphone markets and that their share of the browser market is on the skids, but does CEO Steve Ballmer know something that we don’t know?

A Securities and Exchange Commission filing revealed over the weekend shows that Ballmer sold $369.83 million more shares in Microsoft last week.
Earlier in the month Ballmer confirmed that he’d sold $1.3 billion worth of shares in Microsoft and his latest dumping of shares brings his two-week divesting spree to about $1.75 billion.

Despite his recent sale of shares, he still owns more than 341 million shares worth about $8.77 billion with today’s closing price of $25.69 per share.

According to his local web site Seattle PI  there is speculation Ballmer may be gearing up to buy a NBA football team and bring it to Seattle.
