NEC launched its latest high-end multimedia notebook series VERSA P8210 today. The notebooks are powered by Intel Core Duo Processors.
According to NEC Australia’s General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Tim Falinski, the series offers “Outstanding mobility and computing performance.”
“Equipped with the latest cutting-edge ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics technology up to 512MB VRAM, the NEC VERSA P8210 series offers superb graphics performance and advanced multimedia applications and is perfect for business, entertainment and extreme gaming. The built-in stereo speakers with a subwoofer and remote control also allow users to truly enjoy the digital multimedia entertainment experience,” he said.
The notebooks come with 15.4 inch wide screen TFT Super Shine View LCD technology and four-in-one memory card reader, and express card slot. Connectivity features include Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and Bluetooth, as well as four USB 2.0 ports. An eco mode button is also featured to prolong battery life.
Cost: $2999 for the P8210-1801DR and $2499 for the P8210-1601DR.
