The new BlackBerry 10, which some observers claim could sell for sub $200, will launch globally on the 30th January 2013 in New York, with Australian media set to get access to the new product on the same day.The Z10 is an all-touchscreen BlackBerry which the Company is banking on to lift their fortunes in the market.
Matthew Ball, the new local Managing Director for Australia, Research In Motion (RIM) will present what has been described as a “brief overview” on the launch of the BlackBerry 10 platform.

A recent BGR report cites insider knowledge that the BlackBerry Z10 handset will will sold for under $200. The report makes no mention of pricing details for the QWERTY-equipped BlackBerry 10 smartphone which is referred to as the BlackBerry X10.
In Europe several observers have said that the X10 will not be able to take full advantage of BlackBerry 10 apps since the SDK to optimise apps for its smaller screen won’t release until after launch.
A total of six BlackBerry 10 handsets are expected to launch this year.
