Sony has unveiled the latest high-end addition to its FX range of high-definition Handycams, the HDRFX7.
The FX7 is more compact than its predecessor, the FX1 – in fact, it’s 27 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter, according to Sony.
Another exciting feature is the inclusion of 3 ClearVid CMOS Sensor technology. This comprises three CMOS sensors, each handling either red, green or blue, for improved colour reproduction.
There is also an Enhanced Imaging Processor, which allows signal processing for resolutions of up to 1440×1080 pixel recording.
Other specs include 20x optical zoom, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens and an HDMI output.
