New XBox Music Streaming Service 11M Songs Coming Soon

JB Hi Fi is set to face new competition with Microsoft revealing they will start selling a new music streaming service later this year, giving consumers access to over 11M songs.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer revealed the new service at a Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles. He said that XBox 360 owners usining Kinect will be able to shout their music selections across a room to access content.

 Xbox Music — a MS-branded music streaming service, will compete head on with Apple and Sony in Australia.
