The company, known as NT-K has won its appeal against a tablet ban imposed by the Spanish court, following claims by Apple the device infringed iPad patents, in a ruling last year.

The decision, blocked the import of NT-K tablet computer, which is made in China, into Spain.

The Valencia based tech company are now looking for compensation off Apple for sales lost, according to Reuters.

This marks the first loss the iPad 2 maker has suffered at the hands of judges around the globe.

Here in Australia, Apple managed to attain an interim injunction against sales of rival Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and in Europe several courts, including Germany, have also ruled in their favour.

“We think that, given this was during the launch of the iPad, (Apple) was trying to keep as many tablets from entering the market as possible,” Pedro David Pelaez, a founding partner of NT-K said.

“We’re nothing; let’s be realistic. I don’t think they were looking just for us, but the sum of all of us together was something,” he added.

The compensation sought could be in region of six million euros.
