Panasonic To Give Away 1,500 PVRs

Panasonic is giving users a 1-in-5 chance to win a DVD/HDD recorder with its new Lumix promotion.

Those who purchase either the rugged Lumix DMC-FT1 or DMC-TZ7 Travel Zoom digital camera between August 1 and September 30, 2009 must register online at www.lumix.com.au/connect.

Entrants then have a chance to instantly win one of 1,500 DMR-XW350s, valued at $1,099. With only 1,500 High Definition HDD Recorders to be won, consumers must hurry – the first 7,500 entrants to register online will be in with a chance.

Panasonic Australia’s Category Manager for Mobile AV, Alistair Robins said, “Following the extremely successful ‘1 in 5’ chance to win a VIERA LCD TV promotion, we are now offering consumers further opportunities to shoot, store and share their memories in High Definition with the Lumix FT1 and TZ7.”

“By combining the stunning image quality of the FT1 or TZ7 Lumix digital camera with the versatility of the DMR-XW350, it is so easy for customers to capture, view and store amazing still and HD video – creating the ultimate High Definition home movie experience,” added Mr Robins

The Panasonic DMR-XW350 DVD Recorder with High Definition Recording features a host of connectivity options and user-friendly conveniences – including Panasonic’s revolutionary VIERA CAST for online access to popular entertainment sites, YouTube and Google’s Picasa Web Albums, as well as SD Card Link with AVCHD playback compatibility via the SD/SDHC card slot.

The DMR-XW350 also features a Twin DVB-T High Definition (HD) Tuner and can simultaneously record two Digital TV channels so users will never miss their favourite program in HD or SD, even when watching a DVD or pre-recorded program, and features a 250GB HDD capacity to record 120 hours of High Definition content.
