NaviPlus is a navigation solution that offers touch screen operational capability to major aftermarket systems brands such as HiTV, Alpine, Kenwood, JVC and Pioneer. For selected models, voice guidance and mute functions are integrated to the factory speakers.
The unit gives the flexibilities of integrating voice into factory speakers, or external voice equipment for even clearer voice instructions. This flexibility enhances the driving safety in ensuring navigation instructions are loud and clear and not interfered by car audio. Drivers can choose between a male or female voice to send instructions.
NaviPlus comes with Navteq maps and optional Hema Maps pre-installed. The maps provide elevation and 3D details, while well-tested, turn-by-turn functions provide informative route guidance. In addition, users can expect fast route calculations, 2D/3D map display and speedometer and a trip computer.
NaviPlus is powered by Horizon NavMate navigation software that is used in navigation systems by Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, Nissan, and Porsche.
