Gaming peripheral specialists Roccat are looking to debut a new over-ear headset just in time for the holidays with the Roccat Cross. The emphasis here is on the Cross’ versatility. It’s been designed
for use not just with games but with music and movies in mind as well.
They’ve attempted to craft a set of headphones able to work well both in
and outside of your home.
The company says that “In order to provide a fluid multi-platform
experience, the Roccat Cross comes complete with dual microphones, one
designed for PC and one designed for mobile use.” Each of these mics is
detachable and comes with anti-tangle cable.
While gaming, Roccat recommend using the high-quality boom arm mic
and when listening rather than communicating is more important they
recomment the more discreet and unobtrustive in-line mic.
It features a more comfort-focused and compact designed compared to
some of the bulkier gaming headsets out there and promises “studio-grade
sound,” thanks to 50mm neodymium magnet driver units built into the
product.
