Samsung Adds To Chef Collection Range With New Refrigerator

Samsung Electronics Australia has today launched a new counter depth design 751 litre, four-door French door refrigerator, extending its premium Chef Collection range of appliances.Samsung states that the latest addition to its Chef Collection range, which is inspired by Michelin Star chefs and developed through the Club De Chefs global initiative, provides “Australian consumers a versatile and smart refrigeration experience in order to get the best out of their fresh food”.

The new refrigerator sports a depth of 610 mm (without door), is 908 mm wide and 1,777 mm in height. It features a built-in sparkling water dispenser with three carbonation levels, miracle temperature display, and a fourth door convertible freezer with four temperature settings.

“At Samsung, we pay very close attention to the needs of Australians, as well as the feedback and insights of our Club De Chefs team who has helped design the Chef Collection range of appliances,” Mike Lilly, Samsung Australia head of home appliances, commented.

“This latest Chef Collection fridge builds on the insights gained from working with the world’s best chefs and supports the needs of many Australians we have listened to this year through a dedicated lifestyle research

program, Australians@HOME.”

Samsung’s Australians@HOME study, released today, found that 35 per cent of Australians will throw away their meal leftovers  each week, with one in four throwing away unused vegetables.

“We believe Australians need better solutions to help improve the way they store and prepare fresh food, which is why we are excited to provide smart features like Precise Temperature Control, to help minimise temperature fluctuations of up to 0.5 degrees Celsius, as well as Triple Cooling Technology, powered by three separate cooling fans and evaporators to maintain desired temperatures, keep your food fresh and avoid the mixing of odours,” Lilly commented.

Additional features:

– Metal grain steel finish, with recessed door handles
– Chef pantry: separate store solution for meat and seafood
– Stainless steel chef tray for marinating and preservation of meat and seafood
– Auto ice maker
– 2.5 star energy rating
– LED lighting within the fridge
– 10 years parts warranty on the digital inverter compressor

Samsung’s 751 litre, four-door, French door refrigerator is available at Harvey Norman for $7,999 RRP.
