Samsung Could Score Another Tablet Victory Against Apple

Apple’s motion to see Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned from German stores could be undermined as Samsung slightly modified its appearance on the circumventing 10.1N.

This hasn’t stopped Apple from trying to ban distribution of the 10.1N as well, but despite their efforts the Duesseldorf court hearing the case is leaning towards permitting sale, as they believe it differs enough in its appearance.

The main design changes include a silver boarding case with two grills housing its stereo speakers.

According to The Australian, the court intends on announcing its decision on the 9th of February, 2012. If successful, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N could go on sale in Germany shortly after.

Apple’s attempt to derail Samsung’s launch of the 10.1 in Australia was unsuccessful; although the legal proceedings pushed its sale back almost four months, with the device finally entering retail outlets only yesterday.
