Samsung Galaxy Note 7: New Specs Revealed?

Ahead of the unveiling of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 this week, the leaks are building to culmination, with 9to5Google releasing a rundown of its reported specs.While Samsung has teased at the Note 7’s features, last week releasing a video ahead of its release (see below), details of its specs are now apparently firming up.

9to5Google cites an anonymous source, which it reports it has confirmed has actually seen the device, as providing the rundown, confirming that the Note 7 will be decked out with the recently announced Gorilla Glass 5.

9to5Google also reports that it has been told that the Note 7 will be shipping with a USB-C-to-micro-USB adapter in the box, and that a service called Samsung Cloud will come with the phone, with all buyers to get 5 GB of free storage to get started.

Among the Note 7’s specs, 9to5Google reports it will sport a 5.7″ QHD AMOLED display, a 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera, and a 3,500 mAh battery, and will come with an iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro and proximity, will be decked out with IP68 water and dust resistance, and will run Android 6.0.1.

With Samsung having locked in August 2 to unveil the Note 7, one way or another all will soon be revealed.
