In addition to broadcasting the 2010 FIFA World Cup, SBS announced that it will also be releasing official 2010 FIFA World Cup DVDs.
The agreement with FIFA will see SBS DVD release a number of new Official 2010 FIFA World Cup titles, including the FIFA World Cup Preview, FIFA World Cup Final, FIFA World Cup Highlights, Best Goals/ Best Saves, and a special Socceroos Highlights DVD.
National Manager, Content Sales and Distribution, Sharon Ramsay-Luck said, “SBS is the broadcast home of football in Australia, so it’s very exciting for SBS to extend its fantastic association with the world’s greatest sporting event even further this Cup season.”
Manager, DVD Acquisitions and Development, Janine Burdeu added, “For the 2010 FIFA World Cup SBS viewers can watch every live game on television and relive all the best moments with official 2010 FIFA World Cup DVDs.”
SBS will also produce and sell a range of 2010 FIFA World Cup books, programs, CDs and games.
