The new Monster Text pre-paid mobile plan by Boost Mobile is aimed at users who want to send an SMS to any network for five cents.

Recharging $15 to your account will provide you with $15 of credit for 15 days, while a $25 recharge provides $25 credit for 25 days.

The 5c Monster Text plan charges 5 cents for a standard national SMS to any network (maximum of 160 characters), 39 cents per 30 seconds with a 30 cents flagfall for national calls, and 25 cents per MMS sent.

Users can also use the phone to send international SMS (35 cents) and MMS (75 cents), perform video calls (50 cents per 30 seconds plus 35 cents flagfall), and retrieve voicemail (39 cents per 30 seconds and 30 cents flagfall).
