Siemens Appliances Launches Brand Website

European household appliances brand Siemens has launched a new Australian website for consumers and industry professionals following a hike in retail expenditure and brand awareness supporting the label.

Though the brand has been available locally for two years, to date the company’s marketing has not spanned the traditional channels allowing Siemens appliances to be more widely acknowledged – but this is about to change, according to the company.

The website, at www.siemensappliances.com.au, is designed to allow consumers to experience the brand’s commitment to producing some of the world’s most technologically-advanced appliances, says the company’s Australian distributor, BSH Home Appliances.

“The website showcases the latest in home appliances, including the revolutionary liftMatic – the world’s first oven with an integrated lift. The interactive flash media encapsulates the technology behind the oven and allows users to experience the product in the comfort of their surroundings,” said BSH managing director, Mark Saunders.

The site offers detailed product information and specifications along with downloadable manuals and technical diagrams supporting the entire Siemens range of premium dishwashers, laundry products, ovens, microwaves, cooktops, rangehoods, coffee machines and refrigerators.

“We needed a way of educating our customers – particularly those who are in search of cutting-edge appliances from a brand that appeals to the most demanding lifestyles,” said Saunders.

“The time has come for customers to know there is a premium home appliance alternative out there.”

The site aims to reach new audiences who may not be aware of the brand which sells in mid- to high-end stores.
