Sony PSP2 With 3D Vs New Nintendo 3D DSi Battle Looms

Sony and Nintendo are tipped to go head to head in Australia in a handheld 3D battle with two new portable products that deliver 3D handheld gaming and movie watching capability.Sony who have struggled in the handheld gaming market with their PSP product, up against the highly succesful Nintendo DSi is tipped to release their new PSP2 complete with 3D capability. It will compete with the new 3D Nintendo DSi which goes on sale in Australia on March 27th.

Sony is believed to have also incorporated a data connection which will allow users to download videos, films and games wirelessly. The device will also incorporate a new OLED screen and will be officially launched in Australia in February.

The Sony PSP2 device also has a keypad with some observers claiming that a similar device due to be launched later this year by Sony Ericsson, will have a phone capability and a numeric keypad.
