Speedier Connection For TomTom Devices

TomTom ONE users can now install a free software update that allows their devices quicker connection to GPS satellites.

This means that the position of the device is fixed seconds after switching it on, even in locations where the signal is weak.

The fix is compatible with GO 910, GO 710 and all ONE models.

It can be installed by connecting your device to a PC running TomTom’s HOME software. The QuickGPSfix then predicts the location of satellites for a week.

Users are advised to connect their device to TomTom HOME at least once a week to  ensure the fastest possible connection.
