Lenovo are stretching the tablet concept with this new nifty device – a cross between an Ultrabook and tablet.
Debuted at CES in Las Vegas earlier today, the 13.1″ Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 hybrid device sports a dual hinge which allows it to bend over 360 degrees into a tablet from its laptop form.
However, although the screen isn’t detachable, the bend over keyboard comes in handy as it doubles as a tablet stand.
Under the hood Yoga sports an Intel Core CPU, SSD hard drive and 250GB storage.

The super slim multitouch device (0.67 inches, 3lbs) similar to the Asus Eee Pads released last year, runs Windows 8 which will allow its true touch functionality to shine through when released later this year and promises 8 hour battery life.
And it will do auto updates on email and internet data, even in sleep mode.

Price-wise the IdeaPad Yoga device will be US$1199 and is certain to cost above this in Australia.
Lenovo has had a busy tab-centric CES and debuted the IdeaTab S2 on Google Ice Cream Sandwich along with several other tablet devices.
