Vivitar’s DVR565HD video unit records in H.264/MPEG4, high definition at 720 progressive with a frame rate of 30 frames per second and plays back at 1080i creating a crystal clear image, claims the distributor.

The unit comes with an HDMI cable, which means anything that is recorded is compatible to be played back with any HD ready television.

Other features include its compact shape and size, has SD card memory compatibility of up to 4GB, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, as well as a 3-inch flip out full colour display screen.
