VW’s Mobile Lounge Room

It’s 6.8 metres long and has more amenities than your average loungeroom but this Lounge whisks along at a tidy 180km/h.

The VW Phaeton Lounge includes four seats, wooden tables, two fridges, 17 inch displays, DVD, PC with Internet access and the obligatory iPod dock (no mention of the sound system).

Unveiled at the Dubai Motor Show, the vehicle is an amalgamation of three regular VW Phaeton bodies. It’s extremely unlikely you’ll see one rolling around Australian streets considering it’s a concept vehicle and the long wheelbase production model was slated for delivery in 2003 and is still debatable.
