Critically acclaimed RPG game Xenoblade Chronicles will soon be available on the motion oriented Wii console.
The game’s premise takes players to the lands of Mechonis and Bionis, where they’re caught within a war between Mechons (robots) and Homs (humans) over a single world.

The war stretches over aeons with the lifeless bodies of each race adapting through evolution. Players will fight by the side of fellow human Bionises to repel an invasion of mechanical armies, where they’ll uncover the secrets of Monado, a mystical sword.
Surprisingly the dystopic war doesn’t only offer the grim landscape popularised by the Terminator films. In fact, the landscapes appear visually lush and graphically crisp.
Nintendo claim these vast landscapes offer 100 hours of immersive gameplay, with anything that can be seen in the horizon within the player’s reach. The sheer magnitude of these virtual playgrounds grants players the freedom to plot how they journey to their quests.
Gaming combat happens in real time, and players get to choose whether or not they dabble in random encounters.
Available September 1st, the first batch will be bundled with a limited edition ‘Special Soundtrack’ CD.
