Hyundai Teams With LG, Sony and Logitech On High-End Racing Simulator

Hyundai has partnered with LG Electronics, Sony and Logitech to launch a new high-end racing simulator platform aimed at gamers, motorsport fans and esports competitors.

Dubbed the ‘Hyundai N Racing Simulator’, the system recreates the driving experience of Hyundai’s N performance vehicles using Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5 hardware.

The simulator will be available in two models – a premium ‘Pro’ version and a more affordable ‘Racer’ edition.

The Pro setup includes LG’s flagship OLED evo G Series display paired with Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro console, while the Racer model ships with a 65-inch LG OLED TV and standard PS5.

Hyundai says the cockpit has been designed to mirror the feel of its real-world N performance cars, using Next Level Racing’s GT Elite Lite chassis combined with Hyundai-branded Avante N Light Sports bucket seats.

Logitech G hardware powers the driving controls, including the RS50 racing wheel and RS pedals featuring TRUEFORCE feedback technology designed to simulate road feel and vehicle dynamics in real time.

The move highlights growing crossover opportunities between automotive brands, gaming and esports, with Hyundai positioning the simulator as both a marketing tool and a gateway into motorsport culture.

The system has already been selected as the official sim racing platform for the Gran Turismo 7 esports qualifier event tied to the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, where esports will feature as an official competition category.

Hyundai plans to showcase the simulators at Hyundai N Festival events and Hyundai Motor Studio locations, with limited sales initially offered through its paid ‘The Nthusiast’ membership program.

In Korea, pricing starts at around 9 million won (A$10,500) for the Racer version and 13 million won (A$15,000) for the Pro model.
