Italian appliance maker Olimpia Splendid is turning up the heat on connected home comfort with its new Caldo Plus Wi-Fi panel heater range, delivering smart control, allergy-friendly heating and sleek European design in four sizes for Australian homes.
The lineup includes 1000W, 1500W, 2000W and 2400W models, covering rooms from compact bedrooms through to larger living spaces up to 24 square metres. Prices start at $529 for the 1000W model and rise to $659 for the flagship 2400W version.
What sets the Caldo Plus series apart is its focus on healthier heating. Instead of noisy fan-forced systems, the heaters use natural convection technology to generate steady warmth without circulating dust or allergens.
Every model ships with integrated Wi-Fi and support for the OS Home app, allowing users to remotely power units on or off, adjust temperatures and switch between Normal, Eco and Sleep modes directly from a smartphone. There’s also a 24-hour timer for automated heating schedules during colder winter mornings.
The slimline heaters can be wall-mounted or used as portable units thanks to included castor wheels, giving renters and homeowners greater flexibility. Safety features include child locks, open-window detection and IP24 splash resistance for extra peace of mind.
The entry-level 1000W model is suited to rooms up to 10sqm, while the 1500W version extends coverage to 15sqm. The 2000W and 2400W units target medium and large spaces respectively, making the range versatile enough for apartments, bedrooms and open-plan living areas.
