LG’s Call Of Duty: To Unleash Black Ops II

LG’s IPS7 monitors reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops II

LG Australia is teaming up with Activision, distributor of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, to showcase the gaming sensation on its IPS7 monitor in Australia.

Dubbed the “the most ambitious call of duty ever” Treyarch’s highly anticipated Black Ops II is out on 13th November.

LG released the 27″ (IPS277L) and 23″ (IPS237L),1920 x 1080 16:9 screens in OZ this month, costing $599 and $299 respectively .

The IPS7 screen promises the best gaming experiences, showing clear, lifelike images with smooth colour changes, with less stress on the eyes even over extended periods.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a truly cinematic experience, so we want players to fully immerse themselves in Treyarch’s visually-stunning world and LG’s world-class screens are the best way to do that,” Executive VP of Activision Asia-Pacific, Philip Earl.

In celebration of the partnership, LG is giving away 200 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops II Care Package Edition and their very own LG IPS monitor. Fans will be able to enter the competition via LG’s Facebook page, from now until the 29th October.

“The IPS7 series is the next step in this focus providing gamers with the best display possible,” says LG’s General Manager of Marketing, Lambro Skropidis..

“With realistic colour display, less eye strain, wide viewing angles, and a 5ms response time; there’s nothing better for delivering the fast paced, heart-pumping experience like Call of Duty: Black Ops II.”

“This partnership with Activision cements LG as the number one provider for immersive gaming experiences, and we are proud to be associated with the most popular entertainment franchise of all time.”

There are nearly 200 prize packs up for grabs; to win fans will need to write in 25 words or less ‘how an LG IPS monitor will help give them an edge in their next gaming session.’

Prizes will be dispatched to the winner on the same day that Call of Duty: Black Ops II goes on sale in Australia to ensure they are one of the first to receive the game.

For a full list of the prize packs head to LG’s Facebook page.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II carries an MA 15+ Classification (Strong Violence and Coarse Language) by the Australian Government Classification Board.
