Telstra mistakenly revealed HTC 4G smartie online yesterday.
The sneak peak video demo of 4.7″ HTC One XL 4G briefly published on YouTube was removed from public view in the last 24 hours.
The video, also offered pre-orders (that didn’t actually work) for the high end 4G ready smartphone Telstra are tipped to be launching soon, although it is believed to have been delayed due to shortages of the super powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip processor.
The HTC HD superphone and the Samsung Galaxy S3 are said to go head to head in battle of the Androids this year, as both are running ‘Droid’s new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS.

The HTC One XL touts a Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
It also has 8 MP rear-facing camera (1.3 Mp rear) with auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, simultaneous HD video and image recording as well as face and smile detection.
It also records video in Full HD 1080p.
Mobicity are already stocking the device, say it can hit speeds of 54mbps download and 35mbps upload after been “exclusively tested by MobiCity on Telstra’s new high speed, Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4G network.”
However, the e-tailer are charging a cool $829, so we’ll see what plans Telstra come up with.
