Uniden has added to its UHF CB 2-way radio line-up with its UH510 and UH515 series, designed for use in the Australian outdoors.The UH510 can communicate up to a 7 km+ range while the UH515 can reach 10 km+, with users able to tune into one of 80 UHF channels, with the units, which come with a charging cradle, providing up to 16 hours of battery life.
The units are decked out with a large backlit channel display, designed for easy viewing, while other features include Digital Coded Squelch, which blocks out unwanted conversations for clear messages.
Other features include: VOX, providing hands-free communication via a headset mic; auto battery save and low battery alert; a busy channel and lockout function; five different calling tones; a built-in headset jack; and a carabiner clip, enabling users to fasten the radio to clothing or backpacks.
The 1 W UH510 single pack carries a price tag of $59.95 RRP, the 1 W UH510-2 twin pack $99.95 RRP, and the 1.5 W UH515-2 twin pack $149.95 RRP.
