The Yamaha CD-S300 is a single disc player while the CD-C600 is a five-disc changer that features a PlayXchange function that allows a user to change up to four discs while the fifth disc continues to play.
In addition to CDs, these players also provide playback of music stored on sources such as iPod/iPhone, digital audio players, and USB devices. To expand the current music library, users can connect their iPod/iPhone to the CD player by using its cable.
The CD-S300 and CD-C600 also feature Yamaha’s Pure Direct which shuts down digital audio output and turns off the display to achieve the lowest possible noise interference. Other features include CD-R/RW playback, three mode time display, four illumination levels, last track resume and play mode memory, and RS-232C and IR connectivity for custom installation (only available for the CD-C600).
The CD-S300 and CD-C600 are available in black or silver for $499 and $699 respectively.
