Kutcher who plays a role in the development of Lenovo products said of the new notebook “When I first picked it felt like a shell with no components it is so light”.

Speaking to ChannelNews he said that the brand had done extremely well at JB Hi Fi.

JB Hi Fi executives attending CES told ChannelNews that they are excited about the Lenovo brand in particular the products that the Company will launch shortly.

During a private tour of the Lenovo suite ChannelNews was shown several new products including a 27″ all in one PC that folds down flat to become a touch slate.

We were also shown their new 8 Windows Yoga Tablet 2. This is an 8-inch slate running Windows 8.1 with an HD (1920 x 1080) IPS screen.

It has an Intel Atom quad-core processor (1.86 GHz), 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It weighs in at 0.42 kilograms and dimensions of 8.3 x 5.9 x 0.1 inches. It features battery life of 15 hours.

The stand out feature is the new Lenovo pen technology. The AnyPen, as Lenovo calls it, allows writing on the screen using a traditional pencil or ballpoint pen for the conductive display to register. Lenovo said that this is more precise and thus better than using your finger to write on the display.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 will be available in Australia in the first quarter.

There is also a ThinkPad Yoga that comes in three sizes. This product will be sold by the Lenovo specialist channel.

All of the display options, 12.5, 14, and 15.6 inches, have a touch option.
