Sony Launches James Bond Gadget Suite

Sony has put together a line up of James Bond-like gadgets to complement the release of Sony Pictures film Casino Royale.

The line up includes the latest Cyber-shot digital camera which is actually featured in the newest 007 movie. The rest of the gadget suite don’t feature in the movie, but possess ‘spy-like’ qualities, Sony says.

The tiniest VAIO complete with biometric fingerprint sensor will help you “keep track of private

documents and criminal profiles,” Sony says, while the Micro Vault Tiny, which resembles a stick of gum, can be plugged directly into a USB port to transfer any important information or secret files.

Other spy-styled gadgets from Sony include the global positioning unit which partners up with the Cyber-shot camera to record the time and location of each photograph you take. The Sony portable DVD player with 8 inch display (DVPFX810) also makes an appearance in the 007 gadget suite. You can plug it into a power point or the car – even if it isn’t as fancy as James Bond’s Aston Martin – to review your international assignments, or like the rest of us, simply watch a DVD.

RRPs:

Cyber-shot DSCT50: $699
VAIO UX17: $2499
Micro Vault Tiny: from $55
DVPFX810 Portable DVD Player: $499
